Female Transportation Program "Wusool" Covers 13 Regions Around Saudi Arabia

The Human Resources Development Fund "Hadaf" hasstated that the Female Transportation Program (Wusool) has covered and served 13regions around the Kingdom until now including Riyadh, Makkah, Eastern Region,Madinah, Tabuk, Asir, Qassim, Hail, Jazan, Northern Borders, Najran , Jouf andBaha.

The Program is aiming to empower women working in theprivate sector, increase the percentage of their participation in the labormarket and enhance their job stability.

It is worth mentioning that the Human Resources DevelopmentFund has changed and updated its regulations for Female Transportation Program(Wusool) recently. These changes aim at finding solutions to reduce burden oftransportation costs for Saudi women working in the private sector.

The changes included the conditions for joining the programand the requirement to register in the General Organization for SocialInsurance (GOSI), where the total GOSI subscription period shall be less than36 months and the monthly salary should be SAR 8000 or less.

Updates also included the amount of monthly financialsupport provided by the fund fixed at 80% of the cost and a maximum of SAR 800 permonth, the cancellation of the previously scheduled monthly financialsubscription of SAR 200 riyals, and the extension of the support period up to12 months.
