The Saudi Ministry of Justice announced the interaction of large numbers of beneficiaries with the female-employees in the justice sector, through court platforms and notaries, offering a system of services that benefited in one month more than 31 thousand women, which is a first-of-its-kind record in the history of women in the sector.

The Ministry's female-employees received 44,240 thousand transactionsbetween registration, transfer, paper transactions, and electronic transactionsin the various legal facilities, adding to 1,619 inquiries and non-numericobservations, and directing transactions.

Director of the General Department, Women's departments, the Ministry ofJustice, Fatima Al-Shuraim explained that women's departments provide servicesin the various courts of Saudi Arabia including personal, public, penal,execution, commercial and labor.

Al-Shuraim pointed out that the women's departments operating in thejustice facilities in Riyadh topped the list with 18718 beneficiaries, followedby Dammam with 3859 beneficiaries, Jeddah with 6155 beneficiaries, then Meccawith 2243 beneficiaries and Medina with 607 beneficiaries.

She explained that female employees work in the courts and in the notaries;in the guidance and counselling Unit, in themanagement of case sheets and appointments, in family reconciliation andcounseling units in the personal status courts, in addition to new departmentsto receive and follow up complaints from the beneficiaries and the digitaltechnology departments.

It is noteworthy that the Minister of Justice and the President of theSupreme Council of the Judiciary, Dr. Waleed Al-Samaani, opened the way forwomen to work in the Saudi Justice Ministry for the first time last Decemberand granted them the opportunity to work in five specializations: "SocialResearcher, Legitimate Researcher, Legal Researcher, Administrative Assistant,and First Program Developer".

Before their work, the staff completed the preparatory program, prepared bythe Women's Department, a department created in the new structure of the Ministryof Justice, which culminated at the beginning of last February with theapproval of the Council of Ministers.
