Egypt condemned today Houthi militia's attempt to target Saudi Arabia's Abha International Airport with a booby-trapped drone, which was intercepted by the joint forces of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen.

In a statement today by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt reiterated its support and full solidarity with the Kingdom against Houthi militia's continued terrorist attacks targeting civilian areas in the Kingdom.

It added that this act represents a flagrant violation of international law and a threat to the security and safety of civil aviation, air navigation and stability in the region.

Egypt reiterated its support for the measures being taken by the Kingdom to preserve and protect the security, stability, and safety of its citizens and residents from these ongoing hostilities.
