The Official Spokesman of Coalition Forces "Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen" Colonel Turki Al-Maliki stated that at 10:21 a.m., on Tuesday morning, the coalition forces managed to intercept and shoot down a drone in the airspace of Yemen launched by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia from Sanaa.

Colonel Al-Maliki explained that all attempts by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia to launch drones are doomed to fail and the coalition takes all operational procedures and best practices of engagement rules to deal with these drones to protect civilians, noting that repeated terrorist attempts reflect the despair of the terrorist militia and confirm the criminality of Iran's proxies in the region and those who stand behind them.

The spokesman for the coalitionforces stressed the continuation of the Command of the Joint Forces of theCoalition to implement deterrent measures against this terrorist militia toneutralize and destroy these capabilities firmly, and in accordance with theinternational humanitarian law and its customary rules.
