The Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs of the Republic of Chad has expressed its support for preventive measures taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's government to contain the spread of the new Coronavirus "COVID-19" in the interest of the health of Umrah performers.
A statement issued bythe Council expressed its support for these measures that come to protect Umrahperformers from this epidemic, affirming its solidarity with the government andpeople of the Kingdom, and that this is one of its most prominent efforts toensure security and safety of Umrah performers and visitors to the Two HolyMosques in Makkah and Madinah.
