Saudi Arabia issues 364 new industrial licenses, 164 factories begin production in June

The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources issued 364 new industrial licenses in June 2026, while 164 factories began production during the same month, according to a report by the National Center for Industrial and Mining Information, which is affiliated with the ministry.

Ministry spokesperson Jarrah Al-Jarrah said the monthly report, which tracks industrial indicators, showed that investments linked to the new licenses reached approximately SAR 4.46 billion. These projects are expected to create more than 3,138 job opportunities across various regions of the Kingdom.

Al-Jarrah added that investments in factories that began production in June totaled SAR 1.88 billion, with an estimated 2,567 new jobs created. This reflects the ongoing expansion of Saudi Arabia's industrial base and the increasing pace at which factories are entering operational status.

The ministry, through the National Center for Industrial and Mining Information, publishes key monthly industrial indicators reflecting the Kingdom's industrial activity, including new investment volumes, the number of licenses issued, and factories commencing production. This effort aims to enhance transparency and track the progress of Saudi Arabia's industrial growth.
