CEO of the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque Eng. Ghazi Al-Shahrani has inaugurated a new smart interactive map system for both the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.

Al-Shahrani emphasized that the smart interactive map facilitates the smooth movement of visitors and pilgrims while significantly enhancing navigational efficiency within the two holy mosques.

The system is designed to direct visitors to the most suitable routes during temporary closures or periods of high foot traffic by providing immediate, precise updates.

The system features over 950 points of interest across 13 service categories, supported by more than 650 QR codes for easy access.

It is also capable of generating over 100,000 dynamic routes, automatically optimized in real-time according to operational conditions and crowd flow.
