Fourth annual date festival opens in Rawdah, Hail region

The fourth edition of the Rawdah Date Festival opened today in the city of Rawdah, Hail region, and will run for five days. The event was inaugurated at Qasr Al-Rayan for celebrations, attended by Dr. Fahd bin Muayid Al-Hasani, Director General of the Hail branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, along with several officials.

Festival booths feature contributions from Rawdah’s farmers and local families, offering a variety of date types as well as local agricultural and food products that help develop the agricultural sector and promote local goods.

The festival has drawn a large crowd of shoppers and visitors, who flocked to the booths to explore the wide range of dates and locally produced agricultural and food items on display.

The event supports farmers and local families by providing marketing outlets for their products and highlighting the quality and diversity of dates and agricultural goods from the region. It also features accompanying programs and activities that stimulate economic and tourism activity in Rawdah.
