The Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) has stepped up emergency medical and humanitarian services for pilgrims arriving at the Prophet’s Mosque and other key sites in Madinah, as part of efforts to support visitors following the Hajj pilgrimage.

Ahmed Al-Zahrani, director of the SRCA’s Madinah branch, said the authority’s operational plan includes the deployment of ambulance crews, rapid response teams, electric vehicles and golf carts to improve access to beneficiaries and speed up emergency interventions.

He said air ambulance services remain on full alert to enhance response times and manage emergency cases in line with established medical standards.

Al-Zahrani added that the authority is coordinating with emergency response partners and other relevant agencies to strengthen operational preparedness and ensure the uninterrupted delivery of ambulance services throughout the pilgrimage season.
