Saudi Arabia is set to participate as guest of honor at the Fancy Food Show in New York City, the United States, from June 28 to 30, coinciding with the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The Kingdom will be represented by the National Center for Palms and Dates, which will showcase a selection of premium Saudi date varieties and their diverse processed products that have gained strong demand across global markets.
The participation aims to leverage this major international gathering to further expand the marketing and global reach of Saudi dates and their value-added products.
Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Center for Palms and Dates Abdulrahman Alfadley reviewed the preparations of the participating delegation and highlighted the products to be presented by national companies.
He emphasized that the participation represents a strategic opportunity to empower Saudi date producers, raise awareness of their varieties, and boost exports worldwide, noting the sector’s growing global demand due to its high quality and nutritional value.
Date exports have reached nearly SAR2 billion, underscoring the sector’s importance in supporting the national economy in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
