Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha, concluded his visit to Washington, after a series of meetings with U.S. senior officials, along with chairpersons and CEOs of a number of major U.S. companies.
The meetings aimed at enhancing the strategic partnership and bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America, in addition to supporting the growth of the digital economy, researching, development, innovation, as well as developing the Saudi space sector industry.
The meetings discussed various topics including enhancing the fifth generation and sixth generation technologies, ORAN technologies, the field of space and its technologies, in addition to supporting investment opportunities between the Kingdom and the United States of America.
They also discussed the role of artificial intelligence in supporting the innovative movement to serve humanity and support entrepreneurship.
