Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim AlKhorayef, inaugurated on Sunday the industry and mining system pavilion at the World Defense Show in Riyadh, running from February 4 to 8.
This pavilion aims to showcase the ongoing industrial and mining transformation in the Kingdom, promote investment opportunities in the industry and mining sectors, and provide essential data and information for global investors.
Various Saudi authorities are represented in the pavilion, including the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, the Saudi Export Development Authority, the Saudi Geological Survey, the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, the Saudi EXIM Bank, the National Center for Industrial and Mining Information, the National Industrial Development Center, and the Saudi Mining Services Company ESNAD.
Vice Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Industrial Affairs, Eng. Khalil bin Ibrahim bin Salamah, along with several officials from the industry and mining sector, attended the inauguration.
The World Defense Show 2024 aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which targets the localization of over 50 percent of the country's military and security expenditure by 2030.
This milestone will foster the growth of the military industries sector, generating prestigious job opportunities for citizens.
