FBI accuses North Korea of $6 billion Binance crypto theft

The FBI on Saturday accused North Korea of stealing more than $6 billion in digital assets from the Binance cryptocurrency exchange.

The bureau said malicious actors from North Korea were observed attempting to conceal the origin of the stolen assets by converting them into Ethereum. It added that the stolen funds are expected to undergo further stages of money laundering.
