The Saudi commercial attaché in Egypt plays a key role in strengthening trade relations by supporting Saudi exports’ access to Egyptian markets and attracting Egyptian investment to the Kingdom.

Joint initiatives to boost economic ties

The Saudi-Egyptian Joint Committee achieved significant progress in October, approving 38 initiatives that resulted in the signing of four memoranda of understanding and the implementation of joint cooperation programs. The committee also monitored the execution of initiatives and recommendations, identified obstacles, and proposed solutions to further enhance economic relations.

The General Authority for Foreign Trade works to expand Saudi Arabia’s trade and investment with international partners and target markets by providing technical support to the private sector and maximizing the benefits of trade agreements. The authority also seeks to strengthen the Kingdom’s international trade gains and defend its interests abroad, contributing to national economic growth.
