KSrelief Signs MoU to Financially Support De-Mining Activities in Azerbaijan

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed a cooperation agreement with the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) to extend financial support to deactivate and remove mines within the territory of Azerbaijan.

The agreement was signed in Baku by KSrelief Medical and Environmental Aid Department Deputy Director Abdullah Al-Wadei and ANAMA Chairman of the Board Vugar Suleymanov in the presence of the Kingdom’s ambassador to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Essam Saleh Algetale.

Suleymanov extended his thanks for the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for the Saudi financial contribution in support efforts to de-mine in Azerbaijan.

Al-Wadei underlined the solid brotherly and friendly Saudi-Azerbaijan relations, reiterating the Kingdom’s support to Azerbaijan.
