Heavy rainfall swept across several cities and governorates in Aseer Region Thursday, including Abha, Khamis Mushait, and Ahad Rafidah.
The highlands of Al-Soudah and Al-Habla were blanketed in fog amid rain showers and lightning, creating striking landscapes.
Rain clouds formed picturesque scenes over the mountains of Aseer, while water flowed along roads and through agricultural terraces. Rainfall recorded across the region in recent days also contributed to denser and greener vegetation cover.
Parks and recreational areas attracted residents and visitors enjoying the rainy atmosphere among blooming jacaranda trees, whose purple blossoms created striking scenes for visitors and photography enthusiasts.
Al-Soudah and Al-Habla parks also drew large numbers of visitors amid rainy weather and dense fog, while valleys and ravines flowed with rainwater, further highlighting Aseer’s natural beauty and tourism appeal.
