

The health ecosystem provided services to Umrah performers within comprehensive efforts, with the total number of medical services reaching 70,287 during the period from Ramadan 11 to 20.
This comes within the efforts to facilitate access to healthcare and ensure its delivery according to the highest standards of quality and safety, enhancing the health experience of Umrah performers and enabling them to perform their rituals with reassurance and ease in line with the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program and Pilgrim Experience Program stemming from the Saudi Vision 2030.
Data from the Ministry of Health showed that health facilities performed 278 surgical procedures across various specialties, including 111 cardiac catheterizations.
The number of hospital admissions reached 3,385, while emergency departments received 42,422 visits, and 24,091 beneficiaries received services from primary healthcare centers.
These efforts continue through integrated coordination among the various components of the health ecosystem to ensure the quality and sustainability of services, while the ministry performs its supervisory role to enhance service efficiency in line with its strategic objectives, in addition to its regulatory role in enhancing compliance with approved regulations, contributing to improving the discipline and quality of services provided to Umrah performers and visitors.
