FII to hold 3-day forum in October under the theme "Invest in Humanity"

With the theme "Invest in Humanity;" the fifth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) will take place in October in Riyadh, SPA reported on Monday.

The three-day event, which will begin on Oct. 26 and will run until Oct. 28 will bring together leaders, experts, investors, innovators and prominent media personalities from all over the world.

The annual event will explore pioneering solutions that address societal challenges and encourage efforts to achieve them; as the initiative is an effective global platform in enhancing international cooperation and synergy in order to make the desired impact in the future of humanity.

Fairer & more prosperous future

Commenting on the upcoming event, Governor of the Public Investment Fund Yasser Al-Rumayyan; who is also the chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Future Investment Initiative, said; "The successes of the Future Investment Initiative until today are a documentation and confirmation of the keenness of public and private sector institutions to play an active role in addressing the issues facing the global community."

"We are also working to accelerate the implementation of the changes needed to ensure a fairer and more prosperous future for having tremendous economic opportunities in the post-COVID-19 era," Al- Rumayyan added.

Meanwhile, the CEO of the Future Investment Initiative, Richard Attias; said: "The world today is more aware of the need for sustainable change. Hence, investors and leaders are looking for ways to contribute positively in areas that will create value and create impact for the benefit of people."

"We are witnessing a new renaissance of the economy. It is the reality that we highlighted during the activities of the fourth cycle of the initiative last January; and accordingly, the fifth edition of the initiative will be a serious call to action," Attias added.

The previous version of the initiative held virtually in January this year; with the participation of 200 speakers and 15,000 followers from about 130 different countries.
