Energy Ministry sponsors deals to localize central inverter manufacturing

The Ministry of Energy has sponsored the signing of two agreements to localize and transfer expertise in the manufacturing of central electrical inverters.

According to a statement on its X platform account, the ministry said the agreements support the development of national capabilities and enhance the competitiveness of the energy sector.

The agreements were signed between the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority, Solar Nest, and Al-Rawafed Renewable Energy Company. The initiative aims to increase the localization rate of sector products and strengthen national capabilities.

Localizing the industry and transferring knowledge is intended to raise localization rates, enhance supply chains, create high-skilled job opportunities for Saudis, boost local investment, and develop specialized industries in the Kingdom.
