  • "Born A King" won the best feature film at the Inward Eye Film festival, recently held in Ambleside, northern England.

Born A King, a joint world production, between Saudi Arabia, Britain, andSpain, and 26 other films competed for the first prize at the Inward Eye Filmfestival, which was founded by actor Brian Cox withthe filmmaker Charlotte Wontner.

Born A King is displayed for the eighth week in cinemas in Saudi Arabia, theUAE and the Gulf countries, it is one of the top 5 films to make a profit in2019.

Itstarted showing in cinemas in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf by Fox Cinema sinceSeptember 26.

Thefilm deals with the early life of King Faisal bin Abdul-Aziz, his visit toBritain on August 11, 1919, at the age of 13 years, and his meeting with KingGeorge V of England at the invitation of the king representing his father King Abdul-Aziz.

Born A King filmed in Riyadh and London under the direction of Oscar-winning Spanish producer Andres Gomez.

Itwas written by Bader Al-Samari from Saudi Arabia, in addition to Rey Loriga andHenry Fritz, starring Hermione Corfield, Ed Screen, Abdullah Ali and RakanAbdul-Wahed, with the participation of more than 80 Saudis in the film.
