A ballistic missile launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia on Monday from Amran fell in Sa'dah governorate in Yemen; the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen, said.

In a statement on Monday carried by the Saudi Press Agency, the Arab Coalition's spokesman Brig. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki also said: "The terrorist, Iran-backed Houthi militia; launched this morning (Monday) a ballistic missile from (Amran) governorate using civilian objects for the launch site. The missile also fell after the launch in Yemeni territory in (Sa'dah) governorate.

"The continued violations of the International Humanitarian Law by the Houthi militia through launching ballistic missiles; fall indiscriminately on civilians as well as residential areas threaten the lives of hundreds of civilians, the spokesman said.

"The Joint Forces Command of the Coalition will also continue to implement all rigorous; deterrent measures to neutralize and destroy these advanced conventional capabilities to protect civilians in Yemen and safeguard regional and international security," the statement added.
