Bahrain, UAE, OIC  Condemn Houthi Terrorist Attack Towards Saudi Arabia

Bahrain, United Arab Emirates and Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) have condemned Houthi terrorist militia’s launch of a booby-trapped drone towards the Saudi city of Khamis Mushait, in a deliberate and systematic act targeting the safety of safe civilians and civilian facilities.

The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Bahrain’s full solidarity and firm stand with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in all the measures it takes to protect its security, stability and territorial integrity, praising the vigilance of the Coalition Forces to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen and their ability to intercept and destroy the drone.

It also called on the international community to condemn these terrorist acts that threaten security and stability of the region.

Meanwhile, secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef Ahmed Al-Othaimeen has strongly condemned the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia’s attempts to target civilians and civilian areas in the Khamis Mushait City, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a bomb-laden UAV, which was intercepted and destroyed by the Coalition Forces.

In a statement issued today, the Secretary General reiterated OIC’s solidarity and support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to preserve its security, stability and the safety of its citizens and residents.

United Arab Emirates (UAE) has strongly condemned and denounced the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militias’ attempts to attack civilians and civilian objects in Khamis Mushait City, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a bomb-laden UAV, which was intercepted by the Coalition Forces.

In a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC), the UAE reiterated that these systematic terror attacks by the Houthis reflect their blatant disregard for the international community and all international laws and norms.

The UAE urged the international community to take an immediate and decisive stance to stop these recurrent acts, which target vital and civilian installations and the security and stability of the Kingdom.

The ministry stressed that the continuation of these attacks in recent days is a grave escalation that represents new evidence of these militias’ attempts to undermine security and stability in the region.
