Bahrain, UAE condemn terrorist attack on Abha International Airport in Saudi Arabia

Bahrain and United Arab Emirate have strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Abha International Airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia carried out by Iranian-backed Houthi militias in Yemen, wishing all those injured in this hostile act a speedy recovery.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates the unequivocal position of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and its unwavering support towards the efforts being exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to enhance security and peace in the region and to counter terrorism at regional and international levels,” said the ministry in a statement.

The ministry reaffirmed its full solidarity against all those aiming to undermine the sisterly Kingdom’s security and stability or threaten its interests, stressing the need for the international community to intensify its efforts in combatting Iranian-backed terrorist militias that seek to disrupt security and stability in the region and the world.

UAE condemns the attack

The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned the Houthi terrorist attack on Abha International Airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia , which resulted in the injury of nine civilians.

In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation denounced the terrorist attack which contradicts all international laws and conventions.

The UAE reiterated its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its full support for the Kingdom, all measures being taken to protect its security and stability, and all measures taken in the face of extremism and terrorism.

“The security of the UAE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is indivisible,” the statement noted, adding, “any threat or danger to the Kingdom’s security is considered a threat to UAE’s security and stability.”

The Ministry wished a speedy recovery for all those injured in this terrorist act.
