The Arab Coalition forces led by Saudi Arabia have intercepted and destroyed an explosive-laden drone launched by the Houthi militia; targeting the southwestern city of Khamis Mushait.

In a statement early Friday; the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen said that the Iranian-backed militia is continuing to target civilians and civilians objects in the Kingdom.

The coalition forces are taking operational measures in order to thwart all hostile acts in accordance with international law; the statement added.

Meanwhile; the Arab Parliament has condemned Houthi terrorist militia's launching of a bomb-laden UAV towards Khamis Mushit; Saudi Arabia; in a systematic and deliberate way targeting civilians and civilian objects; which was intercepted and destroyed by the Coalition forces.

In a statement issued Friday; the Arab Parliament also urged the international community to condemn these terrorist attacks and to take measures that would deter these terrorist groups and those who finance and support them to target civilians and civilian objects.

It also called on the international community to assume its responsibilities markedly in confronting such Houthi criminal attacks that threaten regional peace and security and to take measures that would deter these terrorist groups being led by the Iranian regime.

The Arab Parliament praised the efficiency and vigilance of the Air Defense Forces of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen; which have succeeded in intercepting and further destroying UAVs.
