The Ministry ofSports announced the suspension of all sports activities in the Kingdom ofSaudi Arabia in all tournaments and competitions, as well as the closure ofprivate sports halls and centers, starting tomorrow, March 15, 2020, untilfurther notice.
This is an extensionof the continuous efforts made by all government agencies in the Kingdom of SaudiArabia to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19),and take the necessary preventive measures in order to preserve the safety ofcitizens and expatriates in the Kingdom, and based on the recommendations of thecommittee concerned with following up on the developments of the spread thisvirus.
