World Trade Organization appreciates Saudi Arabia’s Role in Stabilizing, Promoting World Trade System

The General Council of the World Trade Organization (WTO) valued the positive, effective and responsible role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in bringing stability to the world trade system as well as promoting world trade.

New Zealand Ambassador David Walker, who is the Chairman of WTO General Council and other senior officials, addressing the annual meetings of the council, praised the Kingdom's role prioritizing issues relevant to the WTO, as the president of the G20.

On the other hand, the Kingdom Representative to the WTO Ambassador Saleh bin Eid Al-Hussaini was paid farewell, as his tenure came to end. Al-Hussaini extended thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince, for the noble trust they bestowed upon him to represent the Kingdom and look after its interests within the WTO, throughout the past 4-Year.
