UAE Condemns Houthi Attempt to Target Saudi Arabia with Drones

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) expressed today its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attempt of the terrorist Houthi militia to target the southern region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with three drones that were intercepted by the Coalition Forces.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said, in a statement, that the UAE considers this targeting as a dangerous escalation and a cowardly act that threatens the security, safety and lives of the civilians, and calls for taking all necessary measures to protect civilians from the Houthi threats.

The Ministry reiterated the UAE's full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against every threat to its security and stability, and its support for the Kingdom in all measures it takes to preserve its security and the safety of its citizens and residents.

The statement stressed that the security of the UAE and the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are indivisible, and that any threat or danger facing the Kingdom is considered by the UAE as a threat to its security and stability.
