Saudi Police arrested seven expatriates for allegedly running a liquor distillery. Authorities have referred all those arrested to the Public Prosecution for further action; Saudi Press Agency (SPA) cited the Assistant Media spokesman for the Eastern Province Police Captain Muhammad Al-Deraihim as stating.

The arrested include four Indian men, two women from Madagascar and a woman from Pakistan.

Security authorities also seized 28 liquor barrels each with a capacity of 220 liters, one barrel with a 30 liter capacity, and 96 bottles of liquor.
