Saudi Arabia’s Onaiza, Riyadh AlKhubara ranked as two healthy cities, says WHO

Saudi Arabia has received HealthyCities Accreditation Certificates from the World Health Organization (WHO) forthe cities of Onaiza and Riyadh AlKhubara.

The Kingdom has currently fivehealthy accredited cities including AlDiriyah, Jalajel, Onaiza, Riyad AlKhubaraand AlJumum.

The two certificates were received inGeneva on Wednesday by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for PublicHealth, Dr. Hani Jokhadar who expressed his thanks to the Minister of Healthfor his continued interest in the healthy cities program.

The concept of healthy cities stemsfrom the level of a city or village environment that serves and enhanceshealth.
