The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development today launched the inaugural Youth Development Award as part of its 2024 Youth Development Strategy, coinciding with International Youth Day and designed to empower young people and enhance their role in national development.
The award launch saw remarkable engagement, with the ministry receiving more than 300 submissions and honoring 15 leading youth initiatives in recognition of their contributions to various development fields.
The Youth Development Strategy was developed in coordination and alignment with more than 30 public and private entities and extends until 2030.
Through this strategy, the ministry aims to provide a wide range of programs and initiatives in various areas, mainly youth-related bylaws and legislation, capacity building for those working with youth, and increasing youth participation in decision-making and community engagement.
