Saudi Arabia is producing more than 30100 tons of pòmegranate annually, achieving self-sufficiency at a rate of more than %34, an official report was released on Saturday.
The report issued by the ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture disclosed that the fruit, which is cultivated from July through December every year, is grown in an area of more than 1587 Hectars in Al-Baha, Qassim, Assir, Al-Joaf, and Makkah.
