Ajel News

General Entertainment Authority (GEA) Chairman Turki Alalshikh has announced that Riyadh Season 2027 will host WrestleMania 43, marking the first time the event will be held outside of North America.

Alalshikh called the event an "exceptional milestone" in the partnership between the GEA and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), adding that hosting it will represent a "qualitative leap" for Riyadh Season, which aims to present an unprecedented edition that befits the tournament's history and global fan base.

WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque praised the GEA and Turki Alalshikh as "exceptional partners," expressing his excitement about collaborating with them to deliver an event of unprecedented scale.

This announcement marks a continuation of the successful partnership between the Kingdom and WWE, which began in 2018 and has since led to the hosting of major events such as Crown Jewel and Royal Rumble.

WrestleMania is a week-long sports and entertainment festival that attracts fans from over 60 countries and has generated more than $1.5 billion in economic impact for host cities over the past decade.

The most recent edition, WrestleMania 41, held in Las Vegas, was the highest-grossing event in WWE history.

Details on the final dates and venue for WrestleMania 43 in Riyadh will be announced in the coming months.
