King Salman issues royal orders, including new duty for foreign minister

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz issued on Sunday several royal orders, including appointing Adel Al-Jubeir as envoy for climate affairs in addition to his work, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

As part of a host of royal decrees issued, Abdulrahman bin Ahmed Al-Harbi was appointed as the Kingdom’s ambassador to China. Al-Harbi was the governor of the General Authority for Foreign Trade.

In another order, Khalid Al-Salem has been appointed as Chairman of the Royal Commission for Al-Jubail and Yanbu with the rank of a minister.

Minister of Health Fahad Al-Jalajel has been appointed as chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority.

Meanwhile, Badr bin AbdulMohsen Hadab, assistant minister of Commerce has been relieved from his post and has been appointed as an assistant to the chairman of the Experts Committee in the Council of Ministers.
