His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, chaired the Cabinet session held in Riyadh today.
The Crown Prince informed the Cabinet about the message sent by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to President Prabowo Subianto of Indonesia, and briefed it on the content of his meeting with King Abdullah II of Jordan, which focused on expressing unwavering support for Palestine and Lebanon, and continuing to provide humanitarian aid to alleviate the suffering of the people there.
The Crown Prince also briefed the Cabinet on his official visit to Egypt, including his discussions with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in which the strong bilateral relations and the shared commitment to enhance cooperation were highlighted.
The Cabinet expressed confidence that the newly formed Saudi-Egyptian Supreme Coordination Council, led by the Crown Prince and El-Sisi, and the investment protection agreement reached by the two sides, will significantly strengthen relations and expand cooperation, to mutual benefit.
Following the Cabinet session, Minister of Media Salman Al-Dossary told the Saudi Press Agency that the Cabinet reviewed the Crown Prince's participation in the EU-GCC Summit in Brussels, highlighting the productive meetings and expanded cooperation opportunities.
The Cabinet welcomed the Kingdom's hosting of the 2026 EU-GCC Summit, anticipating that it will further strengthen relations between the two sides, building on the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' vision of bolstering Gulf cooperation through strategic international partnerships.
The Cabinet welcomed the joining of the Middle East Green Initiative by 11 new countries, and expressed hope that further participation will achieve the ambitious climate change goals of the initiative launched by the Crown Prince as a global model.
