Preparations are complete for the seventh edition of the Health Systems Innovation Hackathon (HSIL), scheduled for April 10–11, aligning with the Cabinet’s designation of 2026 as the Year of Artificial Intelligence.
The event is organized by Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group in collaboration with Saudi Data and AI Authority, Prince Mohammed bin Salman College of Business and Entrepreneurship, the Ministry of Health, Harvard University, and the Research, Development and Innovation Authority.
Organizing Committee Chairman Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Muhammadi emphasized that the Cabinet’s designation of 2026 as the Year of Artificial Intelligence underscores the Kingdom’s strategic commitment to fostering innovation and advanced technologies, strengthening its position as a global leader in data and AI.
He added that hosting the hackathon reflects a continued commitment to nurturing the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the healthcare sector, providing a dynamic environment where innovators and entrepreneurs can transform their ideas into practical solutions with tangible impact.
