Deputizing for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Vice Foreign Minister Waleed bin Abdulkarim El-Khereiji attended the coronation of President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani of the brotherly Islamic Republic of Mauritania in Nouakchott.

Following the coronation ceremony, Ghazouani received El-Khereiji, who conveyed the congratulations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH Crown Prince to the Mauritanian president and their wishes of further prosperity and progress for the brotherly people of Mauritania.
The two sides reviewed bilateral relations and means to enhance them in all fields.

Saudi Ambassador to Mauritania Mohammed bin Ayed Al-Balawi attended the meeting.
