The “Common Ground” festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture, continues to captivate audiences at Mega Studio in Boulevard City, Riyadh. The event celebrates Iraqi culture and highlights the shared heritage and cultural connections between Saudi Arabia and Iraq.
Iraqi visitors expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and for the festival's recognition of Iraqi artists, particularly for the honoring of renowned singer Saadoun Jaber and the late poet Karim Al-Iraqi, which, many noted, reflects the festival's respect for Iraq's artistic legacy and role in fostering cultural ties between the two nations.
As part of the festival, an art exhibition showcases dozens of works by Saudi and Iraqi artists.
Visitors praised the exhibition for its vivid portrayal of the historical and cultural diversity of the two countries, and for offering a visually enriching experience that underscores these two peoples’ shared heritage.
Running until December 31, the “Common Ground” festival features a variety of cultural and artistic events aimed at strengthening cooperation and cultural exchange between Saudi Arabia and Iraq.
It is a platform for audiences to explore the deep-rooted connections between the two nations through art, music, and shared traditions.
