Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the closing ceremony of the seventh edition of the Crown Prince Camel Festival will take place tomorrow in Taif.
On this occasion, Minister of Sport Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal extended his appreciation to HRH the Crown Prince for his continued patronage of the closing ceremony of the prestigious festival.
In a press statement, Prince Abdulaziz said that the patronage reflects the unwavering support of the wise leadership for the sports sector as a whole, and camel racing in particular. It reinforces the empowerment of sports as a key driver for comprehensive development, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The Saudi Camel Sports has allocated cash prizes totaling over SAR50 million, with a significant number of local and international camel owners competing for these awards. Throughout the festival, participants competed in 249 thrilling rounds.
