Saudi Arabia reports 231 New Confirmed Cases of COVID-19

Saudi Arabia's Health minister announced on Monday that 231 new confirmed cases of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom.

The Saudi's Health ministry spokesman Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdulaali said in a press conference that the total number of infected cases is 355,489 cases, including 5,877 active cases receiving necessary medical care.

"There are 765 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable, he said," Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdulaali added.

"As many as 445 cases have recovered, bringing the total recoveries to 343,816,"

"16 new deaths have been reported, bringing the total deaths to 5,796," the spokesman said.

On the other hand, 40,395 new laboratory tests were conducted, in the last 24-hour, across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number of the laboratory tests to 9,295,599, he said.
