Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Islamic Affairs; Call and Guidance has launched Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman project for Ramadan Iftar in India; the Saudi Press Agency reported on Wednesday.
The project; which aims to provide meals for more than 80;000 families in various provinces; states and cities of India during the holy month of Ramadan; was inaugurated at the Religious Attaché Office at the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in New Delhi.
Religious Attaché of the Embassy of the Kingdom in New Delhi Badr Al-Enzi also said that the inauguration of the program comes as part of the support and follow-up of Minister Islamic Affairs; Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Al-Sheikh and under the supervision of Saudi Ambassador to India Dr. Saud Al-Sati; in cooperation and further coordination with the universities; associations and Islamic centers in India.
For their part; the Muslims in India markedly praised Saudi Arabia's efforts in serving Islam and Muslims around the world; expressing their thanks and further gratitude to the Saudi government.
