The Emergency Center for Epidemic Control has continued to provide treatment services to patients in the Hajjah governorate, Yemen, with the support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.
In August, the center provided medical services to 12,156 patients.
Meanwhile, KSrelief's mobile medical clinics provided treatment services to 1,968 beneficiaries in Yemen's Hodeida governorate in one month.
The clinics provided services related to epidemiology, emergency medicine, internal medicine, children's health, reproductive health, nutritional therapy, immunization, awareness and education, and surgery and surgical dressing.
KSrelief also continued the implementation of its water supply and environmental projects in Yemen's Hodeidah, Hajjah and Saada governorates.
In one month, 3,699,000 liters of drinking water and 4,331,000 liters of water for other purposes were pumped into tanks across the three regions.
Yemen is among the top beneficiaries of KSrelief assistance. In total, the center has implemented 618 projects in Yemen for a total cost of more than $3.9 billion.
The center's programs cover food security, water sanitation and hygiene, health, education, emergency aid and nutrition.
