President Mahmoud Abbas of the State of Palestine has valued the positions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, which were mentioned in his annual royal speech during the opening of the 2nd year of the 8th session of the Shura Council, in which he expressed the Kingdom's sincere and supportive positions for the rights of the Palestinian people.
He also appreciated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' affirmation that the Palestinian cause was and still is the central issue of Arabs and Muslims, and stands at the top of the priorities of the Kingdom's foreign policy, and Saudi support for the restoration of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, foremost of which is the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state on the Palestinian territory occupied since 1967 with eastern Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as its capital.
President Abbas also affirmed that these positions come in the context of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's continued historical support for the Palestinian cause at all levels.
