OIC Provides Financial Assist to Health, Social Projects in Member States

The Secretariat General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) today completed procedures to provide financial assistance to health and social projects in several member states.

OIC Secretary General Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen pointed out that the financial assistance is a part of the organization's keenness, represented by the Islamic Solidarity Fund, to support the neediest categories in member states.

He also praised the Fund administration's efforts and quick response to the needs of member states and offering assistance in the humanitarian, educational, health and social fields, urging member states to provide financial assistance to support the neediest member states.

The Secretary General stressed that the Organization, through the Fund, which is a subsidiary of the OIC, is going on with providing assistance and support to emergency, universities, centers and association, hospitals, and schools sectors in member states.
