Speaker of the Arab Parliament Mohammed Ahmed Al Yamahi has commended the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in hosting and ensuring the success of the Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit. He stressed that the summit marked an important step in advocating for the justice of the Palestinian cause and coordinating Arab and Islamic positions to stop the brutal aggression by the occupying entity in Palestine and Lebanon.

In a statement today, Al Yamahi welcomed the outcomes of the summit held in Riyadh yesterday, describing it as a significant step towards boosting Arab and Islamic solidarity and mobilizing international efforts to stop the ongoing aggression against the Palestinian people for over a year, as well as the aggression against Lebanon.

He praised the summit's resolutions, which affirmed the core principles underlying the Arab and Islamic stance on the Palestinian issue, including the call to rally international support for the full membership of Palestine in the United Nations.

He stressed that establishing an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital is key to achieving regional security and stability.
He stressed the Arab Parliament's support for all Arab, Islamic, and international efforts aimed at ending the brutal aggression on Gaza and Lebanon.

Al Yamahi also noted that the Riyadh summit discussed urging the International Criminal Court to swiftly hold accountable those responsible for acts of genocide, forcible disappearances, mass graves, forced displacement, and other horrific war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by the occupying entity.
