The Arab Parliament condemned the attack on Dohuk governorate in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, which resulted in the killing and wounding of a number of civilians, stressing that this attack is a flagrant violation of all international conventions and norms as well as Iraq’s sovereignty.
In a statement on Friday, the parliament stressed its solidarity with Iraq, supporting all the measures it takes to protect its citizens and territories and defend its sovereignty, calling for a cessation of these hostile acts and respect for the sovereignty of Iraq over its entire territory.
