5.1-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Northern Iran

An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale struck today near the border between Iran's Golestan and Semnan provinces.

According to University of Tehran's Institute of Geophysics, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers, with its epicenter located at longitude 54.83 and latitude 36.7.

No casualties or significant material damage have been reported following the tremor.
