Saudi authorities arrested a man in Jeddah; after he attacked and injured a security guard at the French consulate on Thursday.
In detail; the guard had some minor injuries.
In a statement carried by Saudi Press Agency, the spokesman of Makkah Region Police; Maj. Mohammed Al-Ghamdi, said: The Diplomatic Security Special Forces were able to arrest a Saudi citizen; in his 40s after he attacked a security guard at the French Consulate in Jeddah using a sharp tool resulting in minor injuries."
To clarify; the spokesman also added that the injured guard went to the hospital to receive treatment; markedly after arresting that the perpetrator with necessary legal procedures.
