KSrelief, WHO join hands to help Yemen’s government combat malaria

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), Saudi Arabia's charity arm; in cooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO) as well as the National Malaria Control Program in Yemen; organized on Thursday a general meeting of coordinators of bodies working to combat malaria in Yemeni governorates.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Primary Health Care Sector in Yemen, Dr. Ali Al-Walidy, also noted the importance of the malaria control project; supported by the KSrelief and the WHO, indicating that the meeting comes as a result of recommendations to combat malaria.

It is noteworthy that the KSrelief has carried out many programs and projects that contribute to the control and prevention of malaria in Yemen, in addition to providing malaria treatment drugs and securing the necessary laboratory equipment and supplies in hospitals and health centers in Yemen.
