European Parliament's Delegation for relations with the Arab Peninsula has welcomed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's initiative to end the Yemeni crisis and reach a comprehensive political solution between all Yemeni parties in line with the Security Council resolution and joint implementation mechanisms of the United Nations mission to support Hodeidah agreement and ceasefire.
The delegation affirmed that there can be no military solution to the conflict in Yemen and the crisis can only be resolved through a comprehensive negotiation process being led by the participation of all groups of the Yemeni society.
