Coalition forces intercept, destroys two drones

 The Arab Coalition on Sunday afternoon intercepted and destroyed an explosive-laden drone in Yemeni airspace; launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militia targeting civilians in Saudi Arabia; Saudi Press Agency also reported quoting statements from the Coalition's spokesman Col. Turki Al-Maliki.

"Joint Coalition Forces have intercepted and destroyed this afternoon (Sunday), in Yemeni airspace; a bomb-laden UAV launched systematically and deliberately by the terrorist Houthi militia to target civilians and civilian objects in the Kingdom," Al-Maliki said in a statement.

Earlier, on Sunday morning the Coalition forces intercepted and destroyed an explosive-laden drone; launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militia targeting Saudi Arabia.


"Joint Coalition Forces have intercepted and destroyed this morning (Sunday) a bomb-laden UAV launched systematically and deliberately by the terrorist Houthi militia; to target civilians and civilian objects in the Southern Region," Al-Maliki said

In detail; this destruction of the drone early Sunday came; after the Coalition on Saturday evening had intercepted and destroyed an explosive-laden drone launched by the Houthi militia targeting Saudi Arabia.

Furthermore; Saturday's interception of the Houthi launched drone was also the third in two days as the Coalition forces had on Friday intercepted and destroyed two explosive-laden drones launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militia.

In conclusion the attacks are the latest in the series of armed drones launched by the Houthis in recent weeks.
